Elisha House

This project was launched in Colne in 2017 to offer accommodation and support to men who have started detoxification from alcohol and substance abuse and it aims to aid and assist their recovery and rehabilitation into society.

Many of these men were previously in a desperate situation, homeless with a single-minded fixation on feeding their addiction. Several had turned their backs on family and loved ones in pursuit of their addiction. Elisha house works with them to repair and recover those lost relations.

The organisation’s ethos is Bible-based, introducing them to God’s love and care, as well as meeting their material needs of shelter and food and training in life and work skills.

We are delighted to be able to help this wonderful cause with an annual donation. We have benefited from their visit to our Sunday morning service during which we heard some very moving and passionate testimonies.

If you would like to support this project either financially or in prayer, or if you are able to offer a few days’ work for the men, then please visit and ‘like’ their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/elishahousepage/
